Created by Jeremy Fox and pro skater Geoff Rowley, Flip opened in early 90s as Deathbox in England. The company soon moved to Los Angeles, California in 1994 and switched its name to Flip Skateboards. Thereafter, it gained a reputation for high-quality decks and equipment over the years, better than many other seasoned companies. Flip skateboards also gained notoriety for its unique deck art. Flip Skateboards sponsors many pro skaters all around the world, including Legends like Bob Burnquist and Tom Penny. Manufactured with a wide range of concave or convex bends, Flip boards feature 7 ply maple wood construction for maximum durability.
