Term 4 is almost here and there is quite a bit happening at Frankie’s Wheels
Our online retail store is slowly getting back in action, which I am really excited about. We will be adding more skateboards, bearings, pads, helmets and other gear as we go, so keep checking the website. Everything will be Click & Collect from Ryde, which keeps it simple and local. If there is something you need and you cannot see it online yet, just give me a call and I will see what I can do.
Christmas is also not that far away, so if you are looking for a present for your little skater, give me a call and I can organise a custom gift card for whatever amount you like. We also have our Christmas package for $490, which includes 15 lessons, a skateboard worth $150 and pads worth $60. It is a pretty good way to get them something they will actually use and enjoy.
We will also be running our January 2027 school holiday camp at Blackman Park on 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 January. More details will come soon, so stay tuned if you want to lock in some extra skating over the school holidays.
Sunday mornings have also become really popular, so from Term 4 we are increasing the number of classes to three. The new times will be 7:30 am, 8:15 am and 9:00 am. We still keep the ratio at around one instructor to every three kids, which means they get plenty of attention and a lot more time actually skating. It makes the sessions more fun and helps the kids progress much quicker.
One last thing for parents. Please take a minute to have a proper look at your kiddo’s helmet. I am seeing a lot of helmets that are sitting too loose or wobbling around, and if the helmet does not fit properly it is not going to do the job it is supposed to do. If you are not sure, just ask me at your next lesson and I am more than happy to check the helmet and make sure it is fitted safely.
Our Term 4 dates are 18 October, 25 October, 1 November, 8 November, 15 November, 22 November, 29 November, 6 December and 13 December.
Looking forward to another big term of skating.
