School Holidays, What’s Next, and Some Exciting Updates for Term 2
We hope everyone is having an awesome school holiday break.
Even though lessons pause for us during this time, it’s actually one of our busiest periods behind the scenes. We’ve been planning, tweaking, and improving everything to make Term 2 even better for your kids.
And there are a few exciting updates we wanted to share.
School Holiday Program — Fully Booked!
First of all, a big thank you.
Our school holiday program is now completely booked out. We’ve had a huge number of newcomers and beginners enrolling.
There’s nothing better than watching kids step on a skateboard for the first time and start building confidence straight away.
What’s New for Term 2
We’ve made a few changes to the timetable to improve flow and give more kids the chance to ride.
Term 2
25 April to 12 July 2026
Saturday Meadowbank
7:30 am Level 1/2 - 4 spots
8:00 am Advanced Practice No Coaching 120 minutes - 5 spots
8:15 am Level 1/2 - 4 spots
9:00 am Advanced - 7 spot
10:00 am Private - 1 spot
Sunday Blackman Park
7:30am Private - 1 spot
7:30 am Level 1/2 - 4 spots
8:15 am Level 1/2 - 8 spots
9:00 am Advanced - 7 spots
10:00 am - Private - 1 spot
New Advanced Open Practice Session
This is something we’re really excited about.
We’ve introduced a 60-minute supervised open session for more advanced riders at Meadowbank and Blackman Park.
No formal teaching
Fully supervised
Only costs 1 credit
This is perfect for kids who just want more time on the board, to practice, try things, and ride with others in a safe environment.
If your child prefers a more structured approach, they can still jump into our advanced lessons as well using the credits.
Private Lessons
A quick heads up private lesson times have changed slightly.
If you’re looking to book in, make sure you check availability early and get yourself locked in before spots fill up in the system.
New Referral Program
We wanted to give something back to the families who support us.
If you refer a friend and they join Frankie's Wheels, you’ll receive 5 free lessons added to your account as a thank you from us and way of getting more kids into skateboarding!
