Powell Peralta Rodriguez Geegah Skull and Sword Reissue deck. There was a period in the 80's when Ray Bones was the dude! Now you can pretend to ride as good as him with this geegah deck.
In 1986 jump ramps were all the thing. Easy to build, portable and fun to launch off of. Unfortunately, boards were snapping left and right. Powell-Peralta board returns were so high the company sought ways to make decks stronger and high resistant to jump breaks. One possibilities was Bonite construction. Another solution was the "Gee-Gaw" shape which had found a way to reinforce the break zone area of the deck. Why "Gee-Gaw?" Ask Chris Iverson. This form was also used for the Skull & Sword graphic. They were originally produced in the late 80s.
